After a successful trip to Guernsey last autumn Sycamore has battled inclement weather and wildly choppy seas (14 hours on a boat!) to deliver finished work to the Archives, Priaulx Library and private work to our book clinic customers. And if that wasn’t enough we popped over to Jersey to visit their Archives and the Jersey Royal Golf Club, collecting new work on our travels. We’ll be back in a few months, hopefully on calmer waters…

Tuesday 8th October 2013 sees Sycamore visit the Channel Island of Guernsey to hold another book clinic at the Priaulx Library in St Peter Port. Any cherished books, maps or manuscripts in need of repair can be brought along to the library between 10.00am – 4.30pm, where advice and a quote can be given to restore them to a usable or more stable condition.
